Acada Commercial and Official Complex, was constructed in 2011, and its office units commenced operations in the early days. The commercial section underwent a redesign in 2024 by the Mad Architecture firm, transforming from a general shopping center into a specialized children’s department store. One of the challenges of this redesign was converting the small commercial spaces into a unified and continuous space.

Lighting
Given the limited possibilities for significant changes to the floor and walls in this project, the designer focused on the ceiling and employed linear lighting to connect the various retail sections. This continuity of linear lights conveys a sense of spatial unity to the center’s users.
Lighting Evaluation of the Akada Project
The lighting designers at NEXO evaluate the space based on the client’s order and the lighting needs of the project, providing the best lighting design.
Customized Curved Lights
NEXO linear lights can be customized based on the designer’s order, allowing for flexible shaping, which has been effectively implemented in the lighting of this project.
