Acada Commercial and Official Complex, was constructed in 2011, and its office units commenced operations in the early days. The commercial section underwent a redesign in 2024 by the Mad Architecture firm, transforming from a general shopping center into a specialized children’s department store. One of the challenges of this redesign was converting the small commercial spaces into a unified and continuous space. Given the limited possibilities for significant changes to the floor and walls, the designer focused on the ceiling and employed linear lighting to connect the various retail sections. This continuity of linear lights conveys a sense of spatial unity to the users of the center.
