Taghrib House
In this project, the vertical green space on the exterior of the building along with the trees that are planted on the facade and roof, along with the wooden texture of the facade, create a natural ecosystem that can be favorable for birds that have no place to rest in the polluted city. The sound of birds adds another dimension to the dimensions of the architectural space. The plant wall rises from the lower courtyard to the green roof space. This wall connects the green space of the yard to a garden on the roof. In this way, the outer face of the building is removed from the base of a two-dimensional view. There are terraces overlooking the green wall on the sides of the green space. A space that allows viewing the view of the street and the adjacent garden on a private terrace without overlooking. The movable wooden texture of the terraces defines the private area of the terrace while controlling the sunlight.
Taghrib lighting design
The lighting of the building is planned according to the architect’s opinion to create a sense of movement and prevent monotony by using linear lighting.
